The themes of my work include landscapes, girls, animals, and fabric patterns. I use a mixture of painting and collage, therefore I call my method “pécollage”. In other works, I paint motifs in the gaps between the patterns and try to create ambiguous images in which the motifs change in various ways depending on the surface color. My techniques include projecting animations onto parts of my paintings and dressing the painted figures in clothes I make for them. The image emerges from a momentary view that can blur the boundaries between fantasy and ordinary daily life.
